O Prefeito de João Pessoa, Luciano Agra, desafiou o Tribunal de Contas da União, que mandara cancelar o contrato com a empresa SP Alimentação, fornecedora de merenda escolar, e o renovou, sabendo que perderia R$ 2,4 milhões do Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar. A suspeita fidelidade gerou uma ação por improbidade administrativa movida pelo Ministério Público Federal contra ele. Vale lembrar que a SP Alimentação é uma velha conhecida pelos prefeitos maranhenses, que não titubeavam em contratar a dita cuja para fornecer a merenda de péssima qualidade aos alunos. O certo é que o prefeito e a SP Alimentação agora são suspeitos de envolvimento com a máfia da merenda escolar que atua em quase todo o País. É bom os prefeitos maranhenses abrirem os olhos!!!
Sarney agiliza reformas
A agilidade das comissões especiais de experts e juristas para reformar e atualizar a legislação brasileira é apontada pelo presidente José Sarney (PMDB-AP) como caminho importante para “ajudar a resolver questões importantes para a realidade do dia-a-dia dos cidadãos brasileiros”. A rápida elaboração pelo Senado dos projetos de lei dos novos códigos de Processo Civil e Processo Penal, iniciativas de Sarney, são citados como exemplos do sucesso dentro do Senado. No momento aguardam aprovação da Câmara para entrar em vigor. Mesmo processo ocorre com os Códigos Eleitoral e de Defesa do Consumidor. A comissão que trabalha o Código Eleitoral prevê para maio a entrega do novo texto. A Reforma Política, que teve a comissão especial constituída neste dia nove, tem prazo de 45 dias para entregar sua proposta de mudanças.
