O presidente e a vice-presidente da OAB/MA, Mário Macieira e Valéria Lauande, acompanhados do conselheiro Moreira Serra Júnior e do presidente da Comissão de Direitos Difusos e Coletivos da Seccional, Charles Dias, estiveram presentes hoje (18/04) ao 2º Juizado Especial Criminal de São Luís para o julgamento da Ação Penal movida pelo ex-secretário adjunto do Sistema Penitenciário do Maranhão Carlos James Moreira contra o presidente da Comissão de Direitos Humanos, Luís Antônio Pedrosa. Os juízes da Primeira Turma Recursal Cível e Criminal, Adinaldo Ataíde Cavalcante, José Gonçalo de Sousa Filho e Raimundo Nonato Sorocaba Martins Filho, decidiram conceber, por unanimidade, Habeas Corpus, de acordo com o parecer do Ministério Público Estadual e conceder ordem para determinar o trancamento da Ação Penal e sua conseqüente extinção. Luís Antônio Pedrosa teve como advogados de defesa o próprio presidente da OAB/MA, Mário Macieira e o presidente da Comissão de Direitos Difusos e Coletivos, Roberto Charles de Menezes Dias.

O sistema portuário maranhense é considerado estratégico para a economia brasileira. A opinião é do ministro Leônidas Cristino, titular da Secretaria Especial de Portos (SEP) da Presidência da República, que nesta segunda-feira (18), visitou o Consórcio de Alumínio do Maranhão (Alumar), Vale e a Empresa Maranhense de Administração Portuária (Emap), que administra o Porto do Itaqui. Em seguida foi recebido pela governadora Roseana Sarney, no Palácio dos Leões. “Vamos continuar trabalhando para que o Governo Federal possa, cada vez mais, estreitar as boas parcerias mantidas com o Maranhão”, declarou ele à Roseana. “O Governo Federal tem todo o interesse em ampliar cada vez mais os investimentos no sentido de viabilizar toda essa estrutura no contexto nacional e internacional”, ressaltou o ministro. Atualmente, a SEP executa a construção do berço 100, alargamento do Cais Sul, retroárea dos berços 100 e 101. O investimento do Governo Federal, por meio da SEP, é de aproximadamente R$ 320 milhões e faz parte do Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento (PAC).

Os 400 anos de São Luís serão o tema do enredo da escola de samba Beija-Flor de Nilópolis no Carnaval 2012. Logo após, conversaram com os secretários Sérgio Macedo (Comunicação), Tadeu Palácio (Turismo) e Luís Bulcão (Cultura) e com artistas maranhenses que formarão uma comissão cujos membros serão fontes para a montagem do enredo. O titulo provisório é “São Luís, 400 anos de amor”. Os membros da diretoria da escola vão ficar em São Luís até quarta-feira (20). Nesse período, eles vão visitar o Centro Histórico da capital, os terreiros de umbanda e os clubes de reggae. Eles demonstraram ainda interesse pela religião, culinária, artesanato e pelo misticismo que ronda muitas histórias de São Luís.

Os presidentes Jamil Gedeon (Tribunal de Justiça) e Arnaldo Melo (Assembleia) conversaram nesta segunda-feira (18/4) sobre o convênio que permitirá ao TJMA usar horários da TV Assembleia para divulgar ações do judiciário maranhense. Gedeon agradeceu a manifestação de interesse do poder legislativo em firmar parceria de tamanha importância para o cidadão, pois acredita que um canal televisivo é um importante meio de comunicação, capaz de proporcionar a publicidade de diversos atos. O deputado estadual concordou, acrescentando que é preciso combater a divulgação de apenas fatos negativos relativos a estes Poderes. Por isso, com o cidadão consciente dos trabalhos realizados pelas duas casas, assim como terão oportunidade o Tribunal Eleitoral, o Ministério Público, entre outros órgãos e instituições, a pessoa que assiste à TV Assembleia terá uma informação plena, útil e factual.
Campanha Nacional de Vacinação Contra a Influenza
A 13ª Campanha Nacional de Vacinação contra a Influenza tem início na próxima segunda-feira (25) e esse estende até 13 de maio, tendo 30 de abril com o Dia de Mobilização Nacional. Na campanha, além dos idosos com 60 anos e mais de idade, os trabalhadores de saúde das Unidades que fazem atendimento para a influenza, as gestantes, e os povos indígenas, a vacinação será ampliada para as crianças na faixa etária de seis meses a dois anos. A fim de garantir o acesso universal da população alvo às vacinas, tendo como meta, pelo menos, 80% dos grupos elegíveis para a vacinação, a Secretaria de Estado da Saúde (SES), por meio da Superintendente de Epidemiologia e Controle de Doenças, apresentará as estratégias da campanha para profissionais de saúde, representantes dos conselhos regionais das diversas áreas da saúde e Sociedade Civil Organizada. O encontro será, terça-feira (19), às 8h, no auditório do Conselho Regional de Medicina (CRM) – Rua Carutapera, Quadra 37-B, n.º 2 – Jardim Renascença.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
