A MPX, empresa de energia do Grupo EBX, de Eike Batista, assinou contratos de engenharia, construção e montagem com as empresas espanholas Duro Felguera e Initec Energía S.A. para a implantação da MPX Parnaíba, no Maranhão. As atividades para construção da usina foram iniciadas nesta semana. O complexo termelétrico, que já possui 1.175 MW de energia contratados, receberá investimentos de R$ 2,1 bilhões. O gás natural que abastecerá o empreendimento será proveniente dos blocos terrestres que a empresa detém, com a OGX e a Petra Energia, na Bacia do Parnaíba. A Petra é sócia também na geração de energia, com 30%.
O contrato de EPC com a Duro Felguera atenderá aos projetos adquiridos da Bertin, que totalizam 675,2 MW de capacidade instalada. O valor total do contrato é de R$ 518 milhões. Já o contrato de EPC com a Initec Energía atenderá a implantação das unidades vitoriosas no leilão de energia nova A-3 de 2011, somando capacidade instalada de 499,2 MW. O início da operação, em setembro de 2013, se dará em ciclo aberto, passando a operar em ciclo combinado, sua configuração final, a partir de março de 2014. O valor total do contrato de EPC com Initec é de R$ 606 milhões. Os dois contratos de EPC foram firmados na modalidade “empreitada global” (lump sum turn key), com preço e prazo fixos e garantias de execução e de desempenho das unidades geradoras.
A recente parceria entre a MPX e a GE Energy, uma das empresas-líderes mundiais na fabricação de turbinas para geração a gás, assegurou o fornecimento dos equipamentos para o complexo termelétrico da Parnaíba. As turbinas já estão em fabricação, com a entrega das duas primeiras prevista para dezembro de 2011 e as demais no início de 2012. A MPX já possui Licença de Instalação para iniciar a construção de até 1.863 MW e Licença Prévia para a capacidade adicional de 1.859 MW no complexo. Os trabalhos de supressão vegetal já foram iniciados e o início da terraplanagem está previsto para setembro.
A MPX já iniciou um importante programa de capacitação em parceria com o Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial (Senai) e prefeituras locais. Neste mês, a empresa concluiu a qualificação de 198 pessoas e a meta é chegar a 500, para aumentar possibilidade de contratação de mão-de-obra local nas obras do complexo de energia. O complexo de energia irá gerar 1.000 empregos diretos.

Por essas e outras é que o sr. midas, digo E. Batista fica mais rico a cada dia e nós, os consumidores pagando uma das tarifas mais caras do País e como se não bastasse ainda vamos pagar um reajuste de mais de 7% para garantir os tais “investimentos” que são feitos com dinheiro do BNDES com garantias de compra pelo Estado, mesmo que dessa energia poluidora não venha necessitar.
Faço essa reflexão por não ver ninguém questionar esses descasos e falta de visão dos nossos governantes.
