Sarney pede pela manutenção do emprego de “twiteira” do superior tribunal federal

“Internet é liberdade total.” Foi o que declarou à imprensa o presidente José Sarney, na entrada do Senado, sobre episódio que envolveu servidora do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) em mensagem postada por ela –no twitter da instituição – contra o presidente do Senado. Sarney relatou que, em conversa telefônica com o presidente do STF, Cezar Peluso, pediu “para que não tomasse nenhuma providência contra a moça”. Peluso havia ligado em nome da instituição desculpando-se pela atitude da funcionária.
Usuário e entusiasta da rede mundial de computadores, em tom bem-humorado, o presidente do Senado defendeu: “A moça acabou falando da minha idade. Eu acho que não se deve querer limitar a liberdade do criador. Deixa ele (o criador) fazer o que quer. Se ele que dar mais vida pra gente, não há o que fazer…”. O post em questão usava a despedida de Ronaldo Fenômeno e a hora de se pendurar as chuteiras.
Em nota da Secretaria de Comunicação Social, o STF disse que a página “foi usada indevidamente por funcionária terceirizada para tecer comentários impróprios a repeito de eminente autoridade (…) Os comentários em nada, direta ou indiretamente, refletem os pensamentos desta Corte Suprema”. E conclui informando que “as medidas administrativas cabíveis” já haviam sido tomadas.

Representantes da tradicional Festa do Peão Boiadeiro, de Barretos, vieram ao Senado trazer troféu-homenagem ao presidente Sarney, que ajudou na construção do estádio de rodeios – o maior do Brasil. “Viemos agradecer e insistir para que seja nosso convidado de honra na festa, em agosto”, explicou Marcos Murta, presidente da ONG, que há 56 anos promove o evento mais famoso do universo rural.
Quando presidente da República, Sarney foi à festa e, no palanque, prometeu ajudar a cidade na construção do centro para rodeios e no aeroporto. “Um ano depois os dois estavam prontos. Barretos não esquece isso”, orgulha-se Murta. O estádio, que já celebrou 25 anos de existência, tem capacidade para 35 mil pessoas e o aeroporto tem pista de 1.800 metros. “Quando o presidente foi nos visitar desceu em pista de terra com 800 metros, as arquibancadas do rodeio eram de madeira “, reforça Miguel Guimarães, também organizador do evento.
Criado pelo publicitário Alex Periscinoto, o troféu Parque do Peão Mussa Calil Neto, recebido por Sarney, estiliza cavalo indomado em metal colorido de vermelho. Sarney prometeu tentar espaço na agenda para a festa deste ano. “Cem mil pessoas agradecidas vão receber o presidente que prometeu ajudar Barretos e cumpriu”, garante Murta.
