De acordo com o blog do jornalista Gilberto Léda, já é grande a movimentação de bastidores no sentido de que uma Comissão Parlamentar de Inquérito (CPI) seja instituída na Assembléia Legislativa para investigar a fundo os problemas na reforma do prédio sede das Promotorias da Capital, o chamado “Espeto de Pau”.
Por outro lado, uma CPI se faria necessária, visto que o corporativismo, principalmente através da Associação do Ministério Público do Maranhão, no afã de esconder as irregularidades na construção do prédio das Promotorias e, assim, resguardar o verdadeiro culpado pelo espeto de pau, quer fazer crer que a culpa pelas ruínas foi a falta de manutenção e querer a todo modo uma reforma para camuflar as irregularidades.
Nesse caso, o corporativismo está empenhado em deixar impunes aqueles que usaram o dinheiro do contribuinte fora dos ditames que regulamentam os serviços públicos, principalmente os licitatórios, como foi o caso usado erradamente quando da construção daquele prédio.
Na verdade, esse corporativismo deveria agradecer a Deus por fato do prédio não ter caído quando eles ainda trabalhavam naquela construção recheada de erros de infraestrutura.
Essa CPI é válida e terá como objetivo investigar e apurar as responsabilidades pelas irregularidades cometidas na construção daquele prédio. Investigar, também, os motivos que levaram a mudança do projeto inicial, da mudança de empresa contratada, os aditivos acima do recomendado pela lei das licitações, o motivo do rumo de arrimo ter sido reconstruído por diversas vezes, inclusive com as primeiras chuvas, o sumiço do projeto inicial e as medições feitas, mesmo sabendo da falta de vários pilares e vigas.
A CPI “espeto de pau”, nessas circunstâncias, terá um inegável interesse de provocar a verdadeira causa daquele prédio ter ruído com menos de 10 anos de uso.
Como se ver, uma CPI se faz necessária, pois o Ministério Público, que é um órgão fiscalizador, não está apto para se auto investigar por seu corporativismo.

Acho que não tem interesse por parte da Procuradoria Geral, mesmo porque irá desmascarar muitas personalidades ditas como “honestas”.
