Centenas de prefeitos e secretários municipais de Saúde, reunidos em seminário promovido pela SES, aprovaram na quinta-feira (16), um novo modelo de assistência à saúde no Maranhão. O encontro, presidido pelo secretário Ricardo Murad e pelos presidentes da Famem, Júnior Marreca, e do COSEMS, Iolete Arruda, reuniu representantes de todos os 217 municípios maranhenses. “Este é um momento histórico para a saúde do Maranhão. Em parceria com a Famem e o COSEMS, construímos uma proposta consensual de regionalização da saúde, discutida e aprovada por todos os municípios. É um avanço significativo, que mostra a maturidade dos prefeitos e secretários municipais”, ressaltou Ricardo Murad. A regionalização da saúde aprovada no encontro prevê a implantação de 19 regiões e oito macrorregiões – São Luís, Imperatriz e Caxias, e outras cinco que serão criadas e aprovadas posteriormente pela Comissão Intergestores Bipartite (CIB). A proposta levou em consideração critérios como vias de acesso, resolubilidade e qualidade dos serviços de saúde.
Roseana se reúne com ministra do Meio Ambiente
A governadora Roseana Sarney se reuniu, no fim da tarde de ontem (16), em Brasília, com a ministra do Meio Ambiente, Izabella Teixeira. No encontro, foram tratados assuntos referentes ao desmatamento, licenças ambientais e ações com o objetivo de viabilizar o desenvolvimento econômico do estado de forma sustentável. A reunião encerrou a agenda da governadora no Distrito Federal. “Conversei com a ministra sobre a nossa preocupação com as questões ambientais no Maranhão e sobre um trabalho conjunto com o ministério. Conciliar o crescimento do estado com a preservação do meio ambiente tem sido uma preocupação constante em nosso governo e viemos buscar parcerias para dar continuidade a esse trabalho”, declarou Roseana Sarney.

Alunos do Colégio Cintra receberam, ontem (16), a visita do ex-atleta e medalhista olímpico Robson Caetano, que veio a São Luís participar das atividades locais do Olympic Day, evento promovido pelo Comitê Olímpico Brasileiro (COB), em parceria com a Secretaria de Estado de Esporte e Lazer (Sedel). Ele chegou acompanhado da supervisora do Comitê Olímpico Brasileiro, Paula Hernandez, e foi recepcionado por atletas, professores e diretores da instituição, e pelo professor de Educação Física, José Ribamar Soares Ribeiro, maior representante do atletismo maranhense. Robson Caetano proferiu palestra falando sobre sua trajetória enquanto desportista, desde o tempo em que jogava futebol de várzea. Robson Caetano disse que se sentiu honrado por ter sido recebido com tamanha festa pelos alunos do Cintra. “É uma alegria muito grande ser conhecido e ver que o Maranhão está me recebendo assim”, disse. China, falando em nome da secretária Olga Simão, afirmou que a presença do ex-atleta serve de incentivo para os jovens maranhenses. “Precisamos valorizar cada vez mais o esporte e a presença de Robson Caetano hoje aqui é um incentivo para os jovens maranhenses”, ressaltou.
Deputado Dr. Pádua coordena audiência pública sobre saúde pública em Bacabal
O presidente da Comissão de Saúde da Assembleia Legislativa, Dr. Pádua (PP), coordenou os trabalhos da comissão realizados na quarta-feira (15), em Bacabal, para debater a situação da rede pública de saúde do município. Foram vistas a hospitais e audiência pública feita no fórum da cidade. A visita aconteceu por solicitação do deputado Carlinhos Florêncio, que contou com a participação também dos deputados Raimundo Louro, Roberto Costa, Valéria Macedo e Vianey Bringel. Dr. Pádua destacou a importância dos trabalhos da comissão e explicou que o setor de saúde pública de Bacabal registra as mesmas necessidades que vem sendo exibidas em outros municípios do Estado. De acordo com o parlamentar do PR, o trabalho da comissão será técnico e o relatório sai em 15 dias, mostrando os problemas da rede de saúde pública do município.
Deputado Chiquinho Escórcio é homenageado pela Polícia Militar do Maranhão
O deputado federal Francisco Escórcio será homenageado nesta sexta-feira, em São Luís (MA), com a Medalha de Mérito Militar Brigadeiro Falcão, durante as comemorações dos 157 anos da Polícia Militar do Maranhão. A honraria será entregue ao parlamentar pelo presidente do Congresso Nacional, senador José Sarney (PMDB-AP). Chiquinho Escórcio foi indicado pelo Comando da Corporação e teve a homenagem aprovada pela governadora Roseana Sarney em razão de seus relevantes serviços prestados à segurança pública e à sociedade maranhense, nos termos do Decreto Estadual nº 6.927, de 21 de setembro de 1978. A Medalha de Mérito Militar Brigadeiro Falcão será entregue às 18h no Quartel do Comando Geral da Polícia Militar do Maranhão.

Os conselheiros do Tribunal de Contas do Estado do Maranhão (TCE/MA), em sessão plenária ordinária, aprovaram, por unanimidade, a prestação de contas de gestão do Fundo Especial da Escola Superior de Magistratura (Fesmam) relativa ao exercício financeiro de 2009, dando quitação plena aos desembargadores Raimundo Cutrim e Jamil Gedeon, respectivamente, presidente e corregedor geral de Justiça, naquele ano. O processo (nº 1864/2010), que trata das contas do mencionado exercício, teve como relator o conselheiro substituto do TCE, Antonio Blecaute Costa Barbosa, e recebeu parecer favorável (nº2338/2011) do procurador Douglas Paulo da Silva, do Ministério Público de Contas, cujo relatório não apontou qualquer ressalva quanto à documentação financeira apresentada pelos desembargadores Raimundo Cutrim e Jamil Gedeon, julgando regular a prestação de contas do Fesmam.
