UFMA adere à greve nacional
Os servidores técnicos administrativos da Universidade Federal do Maranhão aderiram, a partir de hoje, 30, à greve nacional da categoria. A decisão foi tomada em assembléia do Sindicato dos Trabalhadores em Educação do Terceiro Grau do Maranhão – Sintema realizada dia 28/06 no Auditório Central da UFMA. Os trabalhadores reivindicam o cumprimento do termo de compromisso assumido no dia 19 de maio pelo Governo Federal, no qual estabeleceu-se a formatação de um projeto de lei para a constituição de um plano de carreira desses trabalhadores. No entanto, o prazo para a apresentação do projeto no congresso terminou no dia 15 de junho. Os servidores alegam, ainda, que o governo vem quebrando, sistematicamente, acordos firmados com a categoria ao longo dos últimos meses.
MPMA requer reforma nas delegacias de São Luís
Foi requisitada ao Poder Judiciário execução da sentença que determinou a readequação dos imóveis.
Após uma série de inspeções nas delegacias de São Luís, realizadas pela Superintendência da Vigilância Sanitária (Suvisa), a pedido do Ministério Público do Maranhão, a promotora de Justiça Márcia Lima Buhatem requisitou ao Poder Judiciário a execução da sentença, que determinou em 2001, a reforma dos estabelecimentos. Nas inspeções, realizadas em todas as delegacias da capital, entre fevereiro e junho de 2011, a Suvisa constatou a precariedade das instalações físicas, elétricas e sanitárias dos imóveis. “No geral, as delegacias apresentam condições insalubres, colocando em risco a saúde dos trabalhadores e do público atendido”, avalia a promotora de Justiça Márcia Buhatem.
Sucupira do Norte: ex-prefeito Benedito de Sá Santana deverá devolver R$ 1,5 milhão aos cofres públicos
A Promotoria de Justiça de Sucupira do Norte ingressou na última quarta-feira, 3, com duas ações civis públicas de execução forçada contra o ex-prefeito Benedito de Sá Santana. De acordo com as ações, Santana deve R$ 239.386,33 ao Estado do Maranhão e R$ 1.234.350,35 aos cofres do Município. As dívidas são decorrentes de acórdãos do Tribunal de Contas do Estado (TCE) que reprovaram as contas do município referentes ao ano de 2007. Os acórdãos 803/2009, 804/2009 e 805/2009 tratam, respectivamente, de irregularidades nas contas do Fundo Municipal de Saúde (FMP), da Administração Direta da Prefeitura e do Fundo Municipal de Assitência Social (FMAS) e condenaram o ex-prefeito ao ressarcimento de mais de R$ 1 milhão aos cofres municipais, além do pagamento de multas ao Estado que, somadas, chegam a quase R$ 231 mil. Existe, ainda, outra condenação a pagamento de multa ao Estado do Maranhão (acórdão 806/2009), referente a irregularidades nas contas do Fundo Municipal de Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica e Valorização do Magistério (Fundeb), cujo valor devido é de R$ 8.431,30.
Congresso técnico define confrontos da Etapa Interregional dos JEMs
A Secretaria de Estado do Esporte e Lazer (Sedel) realizou, nesta sexta-feira (5), o Congresso Técnico da Categoria Infantil (de 12 a 14 anos) dos Jogos Escolares Maranhenses (JEMs) com representantes das escolas do interior do estado que se classificaram para a Etapa Interregional. O encontro ocorreu no auditório da Sedel, em São Luís, e definiu os grupos, a tabela e os locais de competição desta fase que antecede a Etapa Estadual dos JEMs. As definições das chaves foram feitas por meio de sorteio na presença dos representantes das equipes classificadas para a Etapa Interregional. Nesta fase, serão disputadas quatro modalidades coletivas: beach-soccer, futsal, futebol de campo e handebol. A competição começa neste sábado (6) e prossegue até segunda-feira (8). A tabela completa, os resultados e as fotos dos Jogos Escolares Maranhenses poderão ser obtidos no site da Secretaria de Estado do Esporte e Lazer (www.esporteelazer.ma.gov.br).
Campanha de vacinação contra sarampo e a pólio tem início na segunda
A campanha de vacinação contra o sarampo e a pólio começa nesta segunda-feira (8) em alguns municípios maranhenses e prossegue até o dia 16 de setembro em todo o Maranhão. O dia “D” da vacinação será em 13 de agosto, junto com a segunda etapa da campanha contra a poliomielite (paralisia infantil). No Maranhão, a meta é vacinar contra o sarampo 783.657 crianças na faixa etária de 1 a 6 anos completos e contra a paralisia infantil deverão ser vacinadas 640.579 crianças menores de 5 anos. “Todas as crianças da faixa etária prevista deverão ser vacinadas, mesmo que tenham sido imunizadas anteriormente”, explicou o secretário de Estado de Saúde, Ricardo Murad. O Maranhão recebeu do Ministério da Saúde 940.380 doses de vacina Tríplice Viral que protege contra o sarampo, rubéola e caxumba. Para a 2ª etapa da campanha de pólio foram recebidas 933.800 doses de vacina contra poliomielite. As vacinas estão sendo distribuídas para as Unidades Regionais de Saúde e até o dia 8 de agosto todos os municípios deverão ter recebido suas doses de vacinas. Serão disponibilizados 1.794 postos de vacinação e 8.406 pessoas estarão envolvidas nesta campanha.
Indeferido pedido de intervenção no município de Brejo
Em sessão das Câmaras Cíveis Reunidas do Tribunal de Justiça do Maranhão (TJMA), nesta sexta-feira, 5, os desembargadores indeferiram representação que pediu a intervenção do Estado no município de Brejo. A alegação do Ministério Público estadual era de que o prefeito José Farias de Castro não teria prestado contas do exercício financeiro de 2009 à Câmara Municipal. O pedido de intervenção foi motivado por uma representação de um grupo de vereadores na qual alegam que o prefeito deixou de apresentar prestação de contas ao Poder Legislativo local. Um técnico ministerial foi designado para ir à Câmara e informou não ter encontrado o documento. O relator, desembargador Lourival Serejo, disse que a intervenção é uma medida de caráter excepcional e entendeu não ser o caso desses autos. Serejo explicou que o Tribunal de Contas do Estado (TCE) confirmou ter recebido a prestação de contas de 2009 do município com a informação de que o prefeito declarou existir uma via do documento na Câmara de Vereadores.

Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
