Finais da Copa Aberta de Duplas de Tênis ocorrem nesta segunda-feira (5)
Termina nesta segunda-feira (5), a primeira edição da Copa Aberta de Duplas de Tênis, competição organizada pela Federação Maranhense de Tênis (FMT), em parceria com a Associação do Pessoal da Caixa Econômica Federal (APCEF). As finas das categorias amador/amador e profissional/profissional começam às 19h30.
Na decisão do amador/amador, uma partida muito equilibrada. A dupla Clineu/Paulo encara Makson/Guilherme em busca do título. Já pelo profissional/profissional, a final será entre Luciano/André e Valeriano/Giminho.
O torneio teve início na semana passada e contou com a participação de mais de trinta duplas, divididas nas categorias profissional/profissional e amador/amador, tanto no masculino quanto no feminino.
Para o presidente da FMT, Clineu Coelho, o objetivo da realização de competições como a Copa Aberta é popularizar o tênis no Estado. “O que queremos é motivar a prática do tênis no Maranhão. Para isso, estamos dando oportunidades aos atletas de participarem de competições importantes e, com isso, evoluírem dentro do esporte”, explicou Clineu.
Premiação
Na categoria amador/amador (masculino e feminino), os vencedores da 1ª Copa Aberta de Duplas de Tênis receberão troféus. Já na categoria profissional/profissional, a premiação seráem dinheiro. Adupla campeã receberá R$ 1.000, enquanto que os vice-campeões vão levar para casa R$ 500.
